The Otherworld North East Research Society (OWNE) is a not-for-profit investigation and research association whose aim is to collate and examine the physical evidence for ghosts and other alleged supernatural occurrences with an objective eye. Otherworld North East was founded in August 2003 and is based in the North East of England with current investigative members based in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Teesside.
